Up To $400 Scholarship Towards our ESL Program  

APPLY BEFORE AUGUST 17, each Year

Our Mission at  ALC is “ to demonstrate God’s unconditional love to our neighbours by meeting their need for English language and acculturation training through high-quality interactive instruction in an accepting and affirming atmosphere”.

In memory of Madeline Johnson, this scholarship was made available by BP Church in recognition of our founder Madeline Johnson. Each year, a student (or students) can be awarded up to $400 of credit towards their English Learning. One award is available annually.

Eligibility:

• Must be currently enrolled at Agapé Language Centre for at least 2 consecutive terms

• Show an improvement in your English language learning (any level) in the past year

• Show an adjustment to Canadian culture

• Complete application below (you may need to ask your teacher to assist you)

What Is A Scholarship?

Scholarships are money that is made to help students afford classes by rewarding them for their hard work in learning English. One, or a few students, that apply will be chosen and given credit to pay for their classes. This money comes from our great donors who believe in helping students who are working hard.

Annual Application Deadline: August 17 of every year

The chosen applicant will be rewarded by BP Church during their service times on Sunday.
